It mainly use for screw air compressor, and its dual-stage filter element traps particulates for longer element life and less noise. Designed specifically to manage the demanding service problems associated with desiccant regenerative-type air dryers, which often expel air laden with moisture and desiccant dust.
Primary stage of dual-stage filter element traps particulates, allowing cleaner air to permeate freely through the secondary noise reduction stage. Features a relief valve that is triggered to open if the air outflow becomes obstructed by particulate build-up and will divert air outflow directly to atmosphere.
Free desiccant fragments should be purged from an air dryer system before installing a new Air Dryer Muffler or whenever an air dryer has been recharged with new desiccant material. We recommended it for pressures up to 175 psi (12 Bar).
This muffler is primarily designed for screw air compressors, adsorption dryers, diaphragm pumps, and vacuum pumps. It helps effectively manage exhaust venting while reducing operational noise and trapping desiccant dust.
The core is made of a special pulp formed at high temperatures (300-500℃) that provides excellent resistance to corrosion, high temperatures, high pressures, and immersion. It is reinforced by a highly durable, perforated cylindrical stainless steel framework.
The safety valve is designed with an opening pressure of 2.0-2.2kgf/cm. If the air outflow becomes obstructed due to particulate build-up, the relief valve is triggered to open, diverting the airflow safely to the atmosphere.
Equipped with a dual-stage filter element and structural silencing features, the unit provides a robust noise reduction performance of ≥40dB.
The pre-filter layer operates efficiently at working temperatures up to ≤180℃. The complete muffler unit is recommended for system operating pressures up to 175 psi (12 Bar).
